Why is this website still active after so many years?

Easy, Lords Of Silence - sponsored online gaming clan once had over 10K+ visitors worldwide daily coming to this exact domain.

LoS was one of those clans that started back in 1996, during the Quake online gaming boom before broadband cable multiplayer, aka IPX peer to peer multiplayer. Quake mod - developed by Threewave "CTF"  introduced the grappling hook and well, LoS was created with liked minded gamers that decided to create their own "clans". 

Shade and SkoL decided to invest in publicly hosting a Quake server and even starting  www.clanlos.com as the main portal which started "Lords Of Silence" gaming clan. The original LoS introduction can be viewed here from founding member SkoLPatrol: 

Due to losing contact with the founding fathers of this amazing group of experienced PC gaming group, www.clanlos.net was established in 1999 and led by Gi-Joe and Crash.

LoS then elevated to playing Valve - Counter Strike multiplayer online gaming as well as Valve Day of Defeat, Team Fortress Classic and even Call of Duty!. Side note: the TFC group held 2 top 10 class specific members via world player stats: www.theclq.com for over a year in early 2000's.

LoS set the bar with these games in multiple online leagues as well as holding top 5 world rankings back when Won ID unique IDs were a thing. LoS was also a non-cheating group and even performed clan LAN playing events. Yes, LoS members once flew to a specific location in the US and we all played in a rented space or warehouse. This was the LAN Party times! 

This site is dedicated to those who represented "Lords Of Silence" and spent countless personal hours, money upgrading their PC gaming rigs,  to bring many hours of friendship to others out there in FPS gaming community.
